What you can expect
Hay Castle Building
Every bale a building block. Stacked hay becomes a fort, a lookout, a mountain to climb. kids turn the harvest leftovers into their own kingdom.

Grape Harvest
Taste before you pick. Walking the vines, we test the grapes right off the branch; sweetness tells you when it's really time to harvest.

Almond Harvest
A stick and the right touch. Almonds are knocked from the branches with a long stick; too hard and you damage the tree, too soft and nothing falls. It's a skill you learn with your hands, not instructions.

Clay Wall Building
Hands in the mud. Using clay and stone the way the farm's old walls were built, kids get to stack, shape, and make something that actually stands.

Exploring the Rivers
Your own river, if you want it. A short drive from the farm, the river is usually empty; swim alone, or just sit with your feet in the water.
